Overview:

The HOSA State Competition occurs annually in March. In addition to competing in medical-related events, you will also spend 2 days overnight downtown, and participate in interesting seminars with your friends. The State Leadership Conference for the 2023-2024 year is Feb. 28–March 1.

This is an overnight event in the ATL Marriott Marquis! Transportation provided. 

 

You can compete in a written or presentation event. Written events are usually individual and require that you place in the State Qualifying Tests (which occur early January) before you are allowed to compete in SLC. The presentation events, however, are straight-to-state, and some allow group competition.

Decide on an event, whether testing, presentation, or practical, by the end of first semester so you have time to prepare!
